When I started this blog, the vision was to write down my favorite recipes and share them here. Ideally, I would also share the pictures of my products. Somewhere along the way I noticed that maybe that was not the best way to showcase my skills. Thanks so much YouTube. I needed something else. Why would anyone want to read boring lines when there’s YouTube?Still a part of me would really love to share them. I thought my readers would like to know a little bit of history about this blog. But with time I realized I have to tell a story. To write. And that was it.

But without further ado. I would like to get to today’s blog.

Today my heart is in a good place. This might have been the case for a long time. God has been good.

God has helped me through hurt.

God has helped me through anxiety.

God has helped me through betrayal.

God has helped me through fear.

God has helped me through disappointment.

God has helped me through pain.

God has helped me through sickness.

The world is and has been a long time very unforgiving. There has been so much turbulence. But life has been like that for a long time. But in the midst of it all, God covered me. He gave me fifty plus chances. He took away my pain and in its place, happiness. He took my weary body, in its place a strong one. He took away my sadness and in its place, joy and happiness.

He strengthened my heart. And even though I forget to pray at times, I know that his mercies are new every morning. Because he is God. My heart has learned to trust. To trust so much that I am unwilling to listen to the voices in my head.

So many I tried. With my own devices. But He told everything I need he has provided. There’s no limit to his mercy.
